Who we are

Ballast-AI (“we,” “us”) is a Houston-based AI consulting firm. Contact: info@ballast-ai.com.

Information we collect

• Contact form data: name, work email, company, industry, message content, timeline, optional phone, and hidden attribution fields (intent, use case, page path, UTMs when present).
• Technical data: standard server logs (IP, user agent, timestamps) and, if enabled, analytics events via GA4.
• Email correspondence: messages you send to hello@ or security@ addresses.

How we use information

• Respond to assessment and security inquiries
• Qualify fit and schedule discovery conversations
• Operate, secure, and improve the website
• Meet legal and contractual obligations

We do not sell personal information. We do not use inquiry content as a public case study without permission.

Analytics

When configured, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic and conversion events (for example, assessment_request_submitted). You may use browser controls to limit analytics cookies.

Email delivery

Transactional messages related to form submissions may be sent via Resend or similar providers acting as processors on our behalf.

Retention

Inquiry records are retained as needed for legitimate business and legal purposes, then deleted or archived per our internal retention practices.
